All types of opportunities, such as full-time, part-time, internships, seasonal positions, scholarships, and volunteer openings, can be shared on Handshake for students and alumni to explore and apply. Additionally, all fair registrations and events are submitted and approved by the Employer Relations Manager via Handshake.
To get started, a user account is required. Upon approval of your account, you can begin posting your openings.
If you have received an invitation from Lehman College, you can create an account by clicking the link provided in the invitation email.

HANDSHAKE ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS:
To minimize wait times and receive timely account approvals, the Career Exploration & Development Center requires that the following information be entered at the time of account creation:
- Complete full name (first and last) for the employer contact
- Company description
- Company address
- A current and working phone number with extensions as needed
- Website that reflects the company name
- Email address that matches the company name and website (please refrain from using Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, etc.)
- All additional information as required via the Handshake registration form
