Transcript Information

*ATTENTION: In light of the increasing concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and our desire to keep everyone safe, Lehman College’s Office of Registrar is transitioning to remote operations at this time. **ATTENTION: ALL CUNY campuses are only open to essential staff starting March 16, 2020 until further notice. We encourage everyone to select the PDF Transcript order option, as there will be delays in the Paper Hard Copy transcript option. All paper transcript requests will be processed in the order in which they are received, once the offices reopen.

We process transcript requests for all alumni, current and former students of our college. You may request a copy of your academic transcript from Lehman College by using our online service.

Order Status- Check the Status of your online order

Please be mindful of the following:

A transcript will NOT be released if the student has not satisfied their financial or other regulatory obligation to the college or University (e.g., Bursar, Library, Financial Aid, etc.)

Transcripts include all coursework taken at Lehman College, both undergraduate and graduate level

Plan ahead and submit your transcript request with enough time to meet your deadlines

 

IN PERSON

Visit the Office of the Registrar, located in Shuster Hall, Room 102

Complete the Transcript Request Form PDF Icon

Pay the transcript fee (payable cash or money order) in the Office of the Bursar, located in Shuster Hall, Room 031

Allow 5 to 7 business days for processing and mailing

Note: Requests for transcripts in person will no longer be provided “same day” or “on the spot” beginning Monday, April 13th, 2020. However, you may still submit your transcript request in person. In person transcript requests are processed and mailed within 5-7 business days.

Important Reminders

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. S.1232g) protects the confidentiality of student education records. Student records CANNOT be released without the student's authorization.

Lehman College will not accept a transcript request or sends transcripts by fax

The Office of the Registrar takes responsibility for handling transcripts in a prompt manner. However, we are NOT responsible for mishandling by the U.S. Post Office or the receiving institution or recipient.

Students must confirm the accuracy of the address/ recipient information prior to submitting the transcript request. If this information is incorrect and cannot be delivered, you will have to request and pay for another official transcript with the correct address.
