Cancer & Screenings

We often think of cancer as being a disease that affects older adults. Unfortunately, breast cancer can affect women in their twenties and thirties. Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) is a condition that can lead to cervical cancer in women of any age, and most testicular cancer cases are found in men between the ages of 15 and 35. If you are interested in having a clinical breast or testicular exam, visit the Student Health Center. These exams are always free. If you would like to have a Pap smear to determine if you have abnormal cervical cells (or HPV), you can make an appointment with our Women's Health Provider. Take a look at the links below to see if you may be at risk for developing breast, cervical, or testicular cancer, and to learn how to perform breast-self and testicular-self examinations.
