Institute of International Education (IIE)

  • Fulbright Scholarship
    • The prestigious Fulbright Scholarship Program is a public diplomacy initiative funded by the U.S. Department of State.
    • Those not attending school must request applicant information from IIE's U.S. student programs office.
    • IIE cannot accept applications from foreign nationals for the Fulbright program. Foreign nationals must apply through the binational Fulbright Commission or designated U.S. diplomatic post in their home nation.

  • Studio Arts Center International (SACI)
    • Florence, Italy
    • For serious students seeking excellence in studio art, liberal arts, and art conservation.
    • Available for semester/year abroad, late spring and summer studies, two-year diploma, post-baccalaureate, M.A. and M.F.A. programs.

  • DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst- German Academic Exchange Service) Undergraduate Scholarship
    • Deadline: January 31, 2015
    • Available to sophomores and juniors in all academic fields
    • Scholarships granted for a period of 4-10 months in the German academic year
    • Recipients will be awarded a stipend €650 per month
    • Covers health insurance and offers lump sum for travel costs
    • Applicants must demonstrate interest in Germany, although language skills are not required

    DAAD Study Scholarship for Graduating Seniors

    • Available to graduating seniors and recent graduates in all academic fields
    • Deadline: October 31, 2014 for applicants in the fields of music, performing arts and visual arts
    • November 1, 2014 for applicants in all other fields
    • Scholarship granted for one academic year (10 months) with possibility of one year extension
    • Monthly stipend of €750
    • Covers health insurance and offers lump sum for travel costs

  • USA Pavilion Student Ambassador Program 
    • This opportunity is open to U.S citizens who are at least 18 years of age.  Applicants must have completed at least one full-year of college-level credit or its equivalent and must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. For additional eligibility criteria, visit the program's site.
    • Selected student will receive: round-trip to and from Milan; entry/working visa and emergency medical insurance; accommodations at a college dormitory in Milan; online and onsite job training, including briefings at the U.S. Consulate General Milan; pre-paid public transportation card to and from Expo site; daily stipend of 35 euros to cover food and incidentals; $1,000 bonus upon successful completion of the program; "Certificate of Completion" issued by USA Pavillion and U.S. Department of State upon successful completion of the program.
