***Important ARPA Spring Grant Information***
ARPA HEERF III Student Emergency Grant Information
Additional ARPA Spring Grants are being awarded to eligible students. Disbursement of these funds begins 5/18/2022 and refunds to students begin on 5/25/2022.
The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act, 2021 (ARP), was signed into law on March 11, 2021 and provides emergency grant funds from the U.S. Department of Education to students enrolled during the declared COVID-19 pandemic to help cover expenses associated with any component of the student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care.

Our Mission
The mission of the Financial Aid Office at Lehman College is to help students apply for, receive and maintain eligibility for various types of financial aid. The office provides financial assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue and achieve their educational and professional goals. The office strives to provide timely and accurate financial aid processing that is in full compliance with all federal, state and university regulations. The Financial Aid Office is committed to the highest level of customer service and effective, efficient delivery of financial assistance from federal, state, private and institutional sources to all Lehman College students.
In order to fulfill its mission, policies and procedures must be continually evaluated to ensure prompt, efficient service in compliance with statutes and regulations. Evaluations include: annual audits, management review and satisfaction surveys.
