Blackboard Special Topics: Blackboard Basics

Blackboard is a Web-based course-management system used to conduct a class entirely or partially online and to supplement traditional classroom instruction with materials accessible over the Internet. Blackboard Special Topics: Grade Center

The Blackboard Grade Center allows instructors to record grades for the various items to be included in the overall grade, compute intermediate and final grades, apply weights and inform students of their grades. Assignments, tests, quizzes, discussions, etc. may be automatically added to the Grade Center as they are added to the course. Where appropriate, these items can be automatically graded. Lehman Community Connect

This workshop will provide a map-based platform to find, view and interact with publicly available data (open data) and Lehman College information.  The goal of the site is to enable students, faculty, researchers and the public to participate in their community by facilitating inquirey, exploration, and the developments of creative applications.  This site brings together informatons about health, population, education, unban sustainability and other Bronx-related data fron New York's open data site.  To register, go to the ITR Workshop Calendar

Lehman College Dashboard Training Level I

In this training level, users will be ble to have a good understanding of overall features of LEHMAN COLLEGE DASHBOARD (LCD). Users will build ad hoc query report and dashboard and have the fundamental understanding of BI reporting using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Users will navigate through various dashboards created for their own user groups and offices. The training will provide users with a good understanding of how CF data is emerged in LCD, and users will create effective and useful reports / dashboard in the best practice format.  To register, go to the ITR Workshop Calendar

Lehman College Dashboard Training Level II

This training is for users who have used LCD for some time or have taken LCD training level I, and are familiar with the OBIEE concept. The training model includes more advanced technical procedures required to facilitate data schema in LCD for complex reports. In this training, users will have a deeper understanding of data schema in CF and associated data concepts, e.g. Enrollment data category, student financial aid data, student’s admissions data, etc. Users will learn to modify existing reports with more dynamic filters and examine various dashboards to export reports for evaluation. Managing an Electronic Mailing List with Listserv

This workshop is designed for staff who manage electronic mailing lists hosted on our Listserv servers (list.lehman.edu, lehman.listserv.cuny.edu) or are autthorized to send mail to the campus group mail lists (e.g. facutly-l, studetns-l).  Topics will include managing subscribers, formatting effective messages, evaluating the effectiveness of messages, configuration options, security, and list archives.  To register, go to the ITR Workshop Calendar

Media Technology Services Online Patron Initiated Reservation System - PIR

We are pleased to announce the launch of an existing online reservation system that currently allows our campus community to process equipment reservations for their day to day use from the office of Media Technology Services. Microsoft Excel for CUNYfirst Queries

A query allows us to retrieve data that meet certain conditions from a database in order to answer a question. This workshop is designed for users who run queries on CUNYfirst. Microsoft Windows 7 Basics

This workshop introduces Windows 7, the version of Windows that is replacing Windows XP on many campus computers.  Topics include Windows 7 login procedures, the desktop and other features of the Windows 7 interface, management of files and folders, use of common tools and programs, customization of the desktop, browsing the internet, keyboard shortcuts and differences between XP and Windwos 7.  To register, go to the ITR Workshop Calendar

SPSS Basics

SNAP
