Lehman alumna and poet Aminata Gueye ’25 (Africana Studies and Journalism) recently presented her work in the Guggenheim Museum’s iconic rotunda, participating in a performance series accompanying the exhibition Rashid Johnson: A Poem for Deep Thinkers. The series was developed in collaboration with local arts organization including Cave Canem, a foundation dedicated to supporting Black poets, which selected Geuye for a nine-week poetry workshop held in conjunction with the show.
