Raymond J. McGuire, president of financial services giant Lazard, visited the Lehman College School of Business on Tuesday April 1, where he met with students, faculty, and alumni, as well as President Delgado and Vice President for Advancement Kelly Brown.

Earlier in the day, School of Business faculty sat down with McGuire to discuss emerging issues in the industry, and how Lehman can best prepare business students to meet them. The visit concluded with a social in the Leonard Lief Library where students had an opportunity to hear McGuire's personal story and get his perspective on everything from pro basketball to the best strategies for job success.

"The more you perform, the more you develop a brand—a profile, if you will, of performance—the more people who are going to pay attention to it,"  he advised.

This was McGuire's second visit to Lehman. In April 2024 he gave a "master class" in business success to a full house of students and faculty.
