Biography

Angelia Holloway-Pinnock is the Program Director of the Percy Ellis Sutton SEEK Program, where she supports up to 900 students on their academic journeys. She oversees operations and student services, including counseling, academic support, financial aid, and SEEK’s TRIO Program, Pathways to Success.

A Washington, D.C. native, Angelia earned a BBA in Finance from Howard University and spent over a decade in international trade finance at the Bank of New York and JP Morgan Chase. She later transitioned to nonprofit management and public service after obtaining an MA in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from NYU and becoming a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has led employment training programs for underserved populations, including individuals with disabilities, dislocated workers, and at-risk adults and youth.

Driven by her belief that life purpose is a therapeutic tool for overcoming life challenges, Angelia joined Lehman College SEEK in 2008 as a Counselor. She later served as Interim Project Director for TRIO Pathways to Success before becoming Program Director in 2020.

In her free time, Angelia enjoys time with her family, traveling, nature walks—especially at the beach—New York City's arts scene, dining, dancing, and unwinding with a good book or classic movie.
