About The Center
The Bronx Telehealth Counseling Center (BTCC) is the first of its kind Virtual Telehealth Center at Lehman College that provides behavioral and mental health counseling. Clinical trainees from the Department of Social Work and Counselor Education: Clinical Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program will provide clinical services under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Psychologist.
BTCC offers compassionate, high quality, evidence-based and free behavioral and mental health services for Individuals, families, couples, and groups. The clinic will help with parenting, relationships, stress, mental health, career success, and more. The clinic has flexible hours on evenings and weekends. The Bronx Telehealth Counselling Center serves as a training environment for undergraduate and graduate students for Social Work and Clinical Mental Health Counseling students using the Interprofessional Educational model to provide services to clients in the greater Bronx area.

- Family Services begin with a 10-session model. Based on your needs and the availability of your assigned trainee, sessions may be extended with supervisory approval.
- Group Sessions will be on an 8-session model.

We currently have a Mutual Aid Support group for college students to discuss managing work, life and school. Participants will share strategies, vent, and enjoy the company and wisdom of their fellow college students. We will develop other groups based on the needs of potential members, so please let us know what ideas you have for a support group.

We anticipate hosting bi-lingual Spanish groups and to hold individual counseling beginning Fall 2025. Language options are based on the current clinical trainees’ availability. Please contact us to learn more about available language support.
