READMIT

Welcome Back to Our Lehman Community!

The Onboarding Advisement Office ensures that our readmit students have a smooth return to Lehman College. Our dedicated Onboarding Academic Advisors offer specialized support that takes our returning students from the point of readmission, all the way through registration for their first semester back, offering personalized academic advisement and support to overcome common enrollment barriers.

You are considered a readmit student if you previously attended Lehman College, did not earn a degree, and now wish to return to complete your studies.

Start Here: Let's Identify Your Next Step

If you were not academically dismissed and have been away from Lehman for three or more semesters, you will need to submit a Readmit Application. Instructions for completing and submitting the application can be found under the "Readmit Application" section. After submitting, check your email for updates regarding your readmission status.

If you have questions about the readmission process, please contact undergraduate.readmission@lehman.cuny.edu.

If you attended another college after leaving Lehman, you must also request official transcripts from every institution attended.

If you were academically dismissed, your first step is to submit a dismissal appeal. A dismissal appeal must be reviewed before you are eligible to apply for readmission.

Visit the Appeals FAQ page and select "Dismissal" and "Readmission" for detailed instructions. Appeals are submitted through SM Apply.

For additional support, please contact the Office of Academic Standards and Evaluation at academic.standards@lehman.cuny.edu.

If you attended another institution after leaving Lehman, official transcripts must also be submitted.

If you have already been readmitted for the upcoming semester, congratulations and welcome back!

You are ready to move forward with onboarding and registration. See the next section below for guidance on accessing your accounts, meeting with your advisor, and next steps to enroll.

Before registering for classes, review and resolve any active holds on your account, as they can prevent enrollment and may take time to process. To check your holds, log into CUNYfirst, open your Student Center, and select “Tasks and Holds.”

Below are the most common holds and how to resolve them:

Admissions Hold

If your admissions file is missing documentation, the Admissions Office will notify you by email. Missing documents will result in a hold that prevents registration. Requested documents can be submitted using the link below.

UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS FILE DROP

If you have questions regarding your Admissions holds, please contact undergraduate.admissions@lehman.cuny.edu for assistance.

Bursar Hold

A Bursar hold typically means there may be an outstanding balance on your account. This hold will prevent you from registering for classes until the balance is resolved. If your Bursar hold is from Lehman College, you can contact the Bursar’s Office at bursar.department@lehman.cuny.edu for assistance and next steps.

If the Bursar hold is from another CUNY institution, you will need to contact the Bursar’s Office at that specific college directly to resolve the balance.

MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Meningitis Immunization Holds

New York State requires proof of MMR immunization. To clear this hold, please upload your MMR and Meningitis immunization record using the link below.

SUBMIT IMMUNIZATION RECORDS HERE

If you experience difficulty obtaining or submitting your immunization records, contact the Student Health Center at med.requirements@lehman.cuny.edu for assistance.

Navigate 360 is your one-stop platform to connect with your academic advisors, faculty, academic departments, and student support services. You can also view your holds, to-do items, and class schedule all in one place.
