This Lehman Life: Historic Baseball Game Featured on Public Radio Series

In March, when producers for the public radio show "This American Life" got wind of the (now-historic) baseball game between Lehman College and Yeshiva University, they knew they had a story worth telling.
The piece, titled "Benched Expectations," was featured in an episode about "people on a mission to achieve their goals before their window of opportunity closes," the description said. It included pre- and post-game interviews with pitcher Justin Chamorro, friends of the team, and a suspenseful play-by-play of the game's critical moments.
