For Business Administration major Felix Santos, a challenge is an invitation. Having grown up in a single-parent household while overcoming personal and academic struggles, Santos knows that adversity can lead to opportunity. He says challenge is the foundation of his ambition and strength.

Growing up in East Harlem’s Washington Houses, encountering academic obstacles, and confronting his own fears has enabled Santos to connect with those in similar circumstances.

“One of the most important lessons I have learned is that success is never achieved alone,” he said. “I tell my story unapologetically and use it as a source of inspiration. My journey is part of a larger movement to break barriers and create opportunities for those coming after me.”

At Lehman, Santos discovered a passion for giving back to his peers and community, while still focusing on his career path. The result has been several corporate internships, and a full-time job offer for the fall.
