Biography

Justin Simmons is the Industry Employment Specialist for the CUNY Inclusive Economy Initiative at Lehman College. In this role, he forges strategic partnerships with healthcare and human services organizations across the Greater New York City area to expand access to internships and career pathways for students.

Justin brings over a decade of experience in the public and higher education sectors, with a strong background in workforce development, academic advising, and constituent services. He is passionate about connecting students to meaningful economic opportunities and supporting institutions in building stronger pipelines for early-career talent.

A proud graduate of the Macaulay Honors College at Lehman College, Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Economics and holds a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College.
