Biography

Christine Calero is an Integrated Advisor and Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Health Equity, Administration, & Technology (H.E.A.T.) at Lehman College. She brings over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration, Medicaid compliance, and nonprofit program management. Christine is deeply committed to student success and equity in education, combining her background in care coordination and quality assurance with a passion for inclusive academic and career advising.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, both from Lehman College. She is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at St. Bonaventure University, with an expected graduation in Spring 2028. Her research interests focus on the experiences and outcomes of non-traditional students in higher education—a journey she relates to personally as a former non-traditional student herself.
Christine teaches and advises in areas including healthcare administration, internship preparation, and career development. She works closely with students in the CUNY Inclusive Economy initiative to ensure they are equipped with the tools and support needed to thrive academically and professionally.
