Welcome to the Department of Health Promotion and Nutrition Sciences, where we are committed to preparing students to complete:
Undergraduate degrees in:
- Health Education and Promotion (BS),
- Nutrition and Dietetics (BS)/Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD)
- Culinary & Community Nutrition (BS);
Graduate degrees in:
- Health Education and Promotion (fully online, MA),
- Health Teacher, Pre K-12 (fully online, M.S.Ed); and
- Nutrition (MS)
- Advanced Certificate in Health Education (fully online)
and an Accredited Dietetic Internship
Students may also complete the ServSafe Certificate course, allowing them to work safely in a commercial kitchen. When operating under a licensed business, they may prepare and sell food products in accordance with health regulations.
