Title II reports are prepared in accordance with the Title II Higher Education Amendment of 1998. The United States Department of Education requires institutions with teacher preparation programs to submit data on candidate performance to their respective states. Lehman College provides test results for program completers on the New York State Teacher Certification Examinations (NYSTCE’s). An annual institutional report is generated for Lehman and the New York State Education Department. Summaries of passing percentages on required tests organized by cohort can be found above.
The outcome measures reported here correspond to the CAEP 2025 Annual Report. In those measures where we report outcomes based on employment or performance within the New York City Publish Schools (NYCPS), the data we receive from NYCPS always lag one (1) or two (2) years. The most recent data are for graduates from our programs in the 2022-2023 academic year, who were rated in their employment in academic year 2023-2024, and reported in the 2025 Annual Report.
