Biography

Steven Buonanotte is a Lecturer and postproduction engineer at Lehman College. While specializing in audio he also works with video and photography in the College’s state-of-the-art Multimedia Center in the sub-basement of Carman Hall and at events on campus.

Steve is seasoned composer, producer, and audio engineer with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He owns a private production facility, Goodnight Studios, located in the suburbs of New York City, where he creates content for some of today’s hottest artists, television shows, and events, as well as corporations and software developers.

Steve has worked with artists such as The Bacon Brothers, John Bucchino, Philippe Quint, Vitamin C, Willa Ford, and Jennifer Page, and on television shows such as Good Morning America, Pawn Stars, Dancing with the Stars, The Secret Life of Pets, Smallville, Meet The Kardashians, Army Wives, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, All My Children, as well as Best of the Bronx  – which won a NY Emmy award.  Steve has also created music for corporations and websites such as The Ford Motor Company, Thermo Fischer and The Musical Piece. A recent co-production he worked on between Lehman College and the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Shift NYC, was also nominated for three NY Emmy awards, including one for him for audio.

Steve has also taught music technology and film scoring at the Mannes School of Music at The New School.
