The Meaning of Mail

Sandy reads

Hi there. My name is Sandy, and I never thought that I'd be sitting in a wheelchair in the hospital, but here I am! When the mail came today, and this note was addressed to me, I felt so special. It was from my best friend at home, and she wrote about what was going on in school, and about how much she missed giggling with me during English class.

You just can't feel like everybody's forgotten about you when you get mail like this. Remember to write to your friends if they go to the hospital. It made a big difference to me, and I bet it will to them, too!
