one other thing that I want to tell you about...my bear, Spanky. I've had
Spanky since I was a very little child, and believe me, this bear has been
through a lot. So you can understand why I brought it to the hospital with
me. Even if you're bigger than I am, stuffed animals can help you, especially
when you're lonely and scared, and I guess that happens to all of us some
time or another. Spanky knows my secrets, and is always getting girl hugs
from me. Of course, I get bear hugs from Spanky.
Do you have a favorite stuffed animal? If you do, remember to bring it with you if you have to come to the hospital. By the way, some hospitals let REAL animals come visit the kids. I would be very surprised if any of them let a bear stick around, though!
