Lehman College and Albert Einstein College of Medicine Partner on New Master's Degree Research Program

Great news for aspiring scientists! A new initiative launched by Lehman College and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center and Einstein-Montefiore Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, is opening up an exciting new path for Lehman master’s students.

Under the Lehman-Einstein Master’s Degree Research Program, you can earn your Master of Science degree at the College while engaging in a full year of research and training at an Einstein laboratory. Students will be mentored by leading Einstein scientists and conduct hypothesis-driven research that can be published and included in their thesis.

In addition, the program offers:

  • a $12,000 stipend while students conduct lab research  
  • opportunities to attend seminars led by Einstein faculty 
  • career and professional develop­ment workshops
