About the Program

The curriculum provides students with fundamental knowledge of basic communication processes. Students learn about typical speech, language, and hearing development of monolingual and multilingual individuals, communication disorders that may arise throughout the lifespan, and the influence of cultural differences. The major prepares students for graduate study in the discipline of communication sciences and disorders.
