Corporate Citizenship Awards
Kevin is the Founder and Chairman of Kingsbridge National Ice Center and a member of the Board of Directors. As a hockey dad of two sons, Kevin recognized the pressing need for access to ice facilities in New York City and set out to explore solutions that would ultimately lead to the creation of the Kingsbridge project. Mark Messier is one of professional hockey's most valued players, cherished by New Yorkers for his accomplishments with the Rangers, and especially for his role in the Blueshirts' 1994 triumph, when they won their first Stanley Cup championship in 54 years. During Mark's 25-year career, he scored a total of 1,887 points, placing him second on the all-time NHL list behind only Wayne Gretzky. Read More
Sarah won the 2002 Olympic Gold Medal in Women's Figure Skating by performing the most technically demanding long program ever seen in the women's Olympic figure skating competition. With her win, at the age of sixteen, she became the fourth youngest Olympic women's figure skating champion ever and only the seventh American woman to capture figure skating's most coveted prize. Distinguished Accomplishment in Literature Award
Joseph Tusiani is Professor Emeritus of Languages and Literatures at Lehman College. A prolific writer, poet, and translator, he works in four languages: Italian, Latin, English, and Gargano—the dialect of the Apulia region of Italy, where he was born. Read More
