Band-Aides and Blackboards
Questions you might be asking yourself...
and my answers...
One of my many hospital friends
Should I trust what she has to say?
I hope that you will. I've been working with children and teens in hospitals for a long time...over 30 years (yikes!).  I have a great job--teaching college students to be the best nurses in the world. I am a registered nurse, and a doctor who has studied about health education instead of medicine. Did you know that there were different types of doctors like that?

Where did she go to school?
I went to Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans, Louisiana, and then to Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and then to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and much later, to Teacher's College at Columbia University in New York. This project began as part of my dissertation, and it has just kept growing and growing ever since.  Whew, that was a mouthful, wasn't it?!

OK, OK, I'll go now and take a look.
Great, I hope that you'll send me a note if you have any more questions. Thanks for visiting!
