Work and Play in the Hospital

Hard at Play in the Hospital

This is Stephanie helping us with medical play. We're going to pretend that we're the ones in charge now, and are about to put an IV in the fake arm on the table. Can you see it? Stephanie is a Child Life Therapist, but I call her the play lady. I've got to admit it, this part of being in the hospital is lots of fun, and it helps in my important work of learning just what's going on! You should just hear me explaining to the arm how important it is to stay still. Like it's going to jump off the table?!
