Mission

The Office of Campus Planning and Facilities provides services in support of the College’s educational goals and mission through facility planning, space management, and the development and administration of capital construction, building expansion, maintenance and renovation projects to accommodate academic and administrative programs, expansions and priorities.

The professional staff in the Office of Campus Planning and Facilities, in conjunction with the administrative superintendents, supervisors, trades people, maintenance, laborers and custodial staff in the Buildings and Grounds Department provide maintenance, operation, cleaning, waste and recycling management. In addition, the Office is responsible for the management of the College’s 1.5 million gross square feet of space in sixteen buildings, including all building systems, central heating, cooling and power plant, the College’s 37 acre park like campus, and vehicle fleet.

Lehman College has served as a location for movies, independent films, documentaries, television series and commercials and still photography.  Location scouts can contact the Office of Campus Planning and Facilities with questions or for additional assistance.
