the Baltic Seas, and between the German/Austrian borders and the Soviet
Union. The emphasis is particularly on the nationalities policies of these

a united Europe.

students in the Department of German at the University of California, Berkeley,
is now operational. The topics for discussion and information for this
list are defined as all issues of interest to the members of WiG, an organization
devoted to the feminist study of German literature, culture, and language.

operation out of Vienna university for about two years. Intended topics
for discussion and other postings include all areas of Geographic Information
Processing, like GIS, CACartography, Remote Sensing and Image Processing
as related to GIS, Geo-Statistics,... Due to requests from German colleagues,
this list now aims at all German-speaking countries.

LISTSERV@DB0TU11.BITNET Events around the Berlin Wall
-
Mailing list for whoever may attach a meaning to the date of 9.11.1989
(or 89-11-09, or 11/9/89). Unfortunately the people living in the German
Democratic Republic will not be able to participate in this discussion,
because they are not (yet?) on this network. The list name reflects the
most important event in the recent German history, but it can't and shouldn't
be seen isolated from what happened, and is now happening, in Poland, the
USSR, and Hungary before.
