Faculty Service Opportunities
Serving on College governance committees is a wonderful opportunity for early and mid-career faculty to have their voices heard. It is also a very important way to document service to the College, one of the three "legs" of the tenure and promotion process. The College Senate Governance Committee and the boards of the Lehman College Association for Campus Activities and the Auxiliary Enterprises Corporation are seeking nominations. If you are interested in participating in faculty governance, please read the email you should have received on March 12 from Duane Tananbaum, Chair of the Governance Committee, with the subject line "Senate Committee Nominations." |

Availability of Student Evaluation of Teaching Results
Lehman will make available the numerical results of the Student Evaluation of Teaching and Learning (SETL) on the restricted Lehman 360. Students will receive access to the information after the complete reports have been sent to instructors and department chairs. Instructors play a vital role in motivating students to respond to their surveys. Higher response rates seem to result from instructors reminding students of the opportunity to provide their course evaluation. Please encourage your students to participate in SETL when the survey opens on May 2. It is in the interest of instructors and students that as many as possible participate to ensure that the results are truly representative. |

Please see this letter from the provost for more information and instructions on how to register for Haven. |
