Intensive Teacher Institute (ITI) scholarship programs for bilingual classroom teachers
(15 credits each, plus any prerequisites):
- Bilingual Extension B-12 for General Education classroom teachers
- Bilingual Extension B-12 for Special Education classroom teachers
The ITI scholarship covers most of the cost of tuition. Candidates are responsible for the balance of their tuition as well as any college fees. To qualify for these programs, candidates MUST already be employed as bilingual classroom teachers in New York State and must be pre-approved by the Intensive Teacher Institute-BOCES.
