Subhead Explanation of Template Layout 5 Explanation of Frameset Explanation of Style-Sheet Tags Explanation of Template Layout 5 This layout follows the same formatting as Template Layout 3, but this layout includes an image (smaller than the one in Template Layout 4) and a place for hyperlinks that are related to the page. These hyperlinks follow the color of your department/office. Use "mycolor10" for these hyperlinks. This layout is useful if you have a long document and want to divide it into several different sections. The page will first have a list of titles to these different sections. The hyperlinks of the titles should always use the style "brown10." If the list is short, you can use "brown12," but keep in mind that the list would take up more space. When a viewer sees something he/she would want to read more about, he/she can click on the hyperlink and the page will jump to the appropriate places. The hyperlink, "index," enables the viewer to jump back to the list of titles. Please take a look at a sample. index Explanation of Frameset The Template uses framsets. Frameset allows the browser window to be sub-divided into smaller viewable areas for use in keeping certain content constant while other content is scrolled or replaced. Each of these areas (also known as "frames") represent a completely separate sub-document which can be individually controlled and addressed, thus, making the updating process easier and less time-consuming. A disadvantage of the framesets is that viewer would have a difficult time printing information. The "Printer-Friendly Format" function was brought in to resolve this issue. index Explanation of Style-Sheet Tags The Template consists of a style-sheet. Delete "Subhead" if you don't need it.
