Lehman's Aurora Peters Receives CUNYAC Honorable Mention

Bronx, NY – Lehman college women’s tennis player Aurora Peters’ perfect week earned her an honorable mention as the CUNY Athletic Conference announced the weekly award winners for women’s tennis earlier this afternoon.

Peters’ week began with a sensational showing in a conference match against the New York City College of Technology Yellow Jackets, as the sophomore out of Jamaica High School earned victories in No. 2 doubles as well as No. 2 singles. She continued her stellar play with a clean sweep against the College of New Rochelle Blue Angels this past Saturday afternoon, taking wins in No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles.

Peters’ success on the court has been a big reason why the Lightning is off to an impressive 3-2 start to this season. Through five matches, she has posted a phenomenal
8-1 record, including a 4-0 mark in singles competition.

Lehman returns to the court on Tuesday, October 2nd, as they battle the Medgar Evers Cougars in a key conference contest at the Apex Tennis Courts.
