Lightning Women Fall Short Against John Jay in Women's Swimming

Bronx, NY- On Friday Night November 03, 2006 the Lehman Women came close to pulling off a monumental upset by taking John Jay College deep into the meet before finally succumbing to the Bloodhounds 83-108.

The almost completely revamped Lightning squad was led by Junior Crisle Acevedo winning the 200 and 500 Freestyle events with personal best times and rookie swimmer Yudelka Espinal who swam a terrific leg on the 200 Medley Relay to almost bring home the victory.
