GENERAL BUILDING RULES

1. Only scuff-resistant shoes are allowed in the activity areas of the building. Any other type of shoes which may mark the floors, are not permitted.

2. Muddy or dirty shoes are not permitted.

3. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the facility.

4. There is no eating or drinking except where designated.

5. The use of skateboards, bicycles,roller blades or roller skates inside the facility is prohibited.

6. Baby carriges are not allowed in the building

7. No animals or pets of any kind are permitted in the building.

8. Footwear is required at all times while in the facility (except in the locker rooms, pool and pool deck area).

9. Entry and exit of the facility must be made through the designated entrances.

10. Coats and other excess clothing should be placed in lockers.

11. Proper and valid identification is required to gain access to the building.

12. No spitting in drinking fountains, in or on activity spaces, and running track.

13. Users of the facility are asked to respect the rights of others. The display of good sportsmanship is expected at all times.

14. Lehman College accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen property.

15. Parents must be with all children under the age of 17 and at no time leave them unattended in the building.

16. For safety reasons, children under 7 years of age are not permitted in The APEX unless part of a special program for that age group.

17. Parents/guardians will be held responsible for any financial loss to The APEX caused by their children.

18. Violations of any or all of these rules and regulations can result in revocation of APEX Membership privileges

19. Acess to the building for the purpose of searching for other individuals is not permitted.
