The CCC considers the places identified in this nine museum project to be as meaningful and important as they are. Although we call for the creation of new museums, we consider this a visualization of what might be done with the massive funds our society has at its disposal. We do not support the wholesale razing of existing facilities. The "demolition-build" cycle is part of our society's refusal to deal with difficult historical issues. Our society tries to erase the past instead of coming to terms with it.

A building like the Brexton, which has been abandoned for almost a decade, could be rebuilt into a museum or gallery or research center etc.. Hands off the rest.

The CCC invites you to visit the places identified. You'll have to bring your own museum-state-of-mind with you.
