Meet the Artist


Priscila de Carvalho with a group of students of the City and Humanities Program.

Students have the opportunity to meet artists whose work is on view, and learn about their art techniques and materials. Artists talk about how they develop ideas and translate them into art works. They also demonstrate their studio process. Students then work with art materials and try out the process for themselves in the gallery's studio. In addition, the artist with the gallery's education curator, discuss the broader topic of careers in the arts.
