Player of The Week

VOJDAN ROSOKLIJA, HUNTER SO / F / Northern Valley / Demarest, NJ

The sophomore scored what proved to be the game-winning tally in Hunter’s 3-2, conference victory versus previously unbeaten (in CUNY) City Tech on Saturday. The Demarest, New Jersey native, who now has seven points on the season, also notched an assist on the Hawk’s second goal of the contest. The victory put an end to Hunter’s sixgame losing streak, and they will try to make it two straight with a win at William Paterson on Monday evening.

Rookie of The Week

ROGER GONZALEZ, CCNY FR / D / Fray Luis / Venezuela

The tough defender is a big reason why the Beavers have remained unbeaten at 6-0-1. The native of Venezuela has been an anchor of a unit that has not allowed a single goal in four straight contests, including a 3-0 blanking of conference rival York last Saturday. In fact, CCNY has allowed just four goals in seven contests this season, the best goals against ratio (0.57 gpg.) in the league.
