lead Hunter to a pair of conference victories
last week and went 5-1 in her individual
matches. The senior dusted
Lehman’s Mickey Tabbing, 6-0, 6-0 and
also knocked off CCNY’s Sharon Fader
in three sets. The Bishop Gibson product
also teamed with her doubles parter,
Antigone Tzakis, to win at #1 doubles in
both league contests.

The Rosedale, Queens native is one of
several Bloodhounds’ newcomers that
has jumped out to a fast start. The freshman
went a perfect 6-0 in her individual
matches last week. She helped lead John
Jay to victories against St. Joseph’s (LI)
and Kean with straight set victories at #1
singles and #1 doubles. The Bloodhounds
are off to a 2-1 start.
