Freshman outside hitter Ronaldo DaSilva recorded a team-high 12 kills and added 13 digs as Hunter swept Medgar Evers. Senior middle Mike McFalls added 11 kills and senior setter Neil Hong recorded 34 assists. CUNYAC Player of the Year, junior outside hitter Andre Edwin had a game-high 15 kills and added nine digs for Medgar Evers, while senior setter David Sealy added 11 digs.

York erased a 2-1 deficit to defeat Baruch and advance to the finals. Junior outside hitter Marc Meo exploded for 21 kills and 21 digs to lead the Cardinals. Freshman outside hitter Leszek Stankiewicz added 18 kills and sophomore setter Arturo Manantan distributed 42 assists. Baruch was led by freshman hitter Greg Waldvogel’s 13 kills and freshman setter King Chen had a team-high 42 assists.
