Player of The Week - ERIC STONE, CCNY

The senior ousted Staten Island’s Alex Ilchenko, the 2003 CUNYAC Champion at #1 singles- 6- 1, 6-1. The Bronx, New York native, who transferred from the University of Hawaii, is now a perfect 3-0 on the season at the top singles position and is a major reason why the Beavers are leading the league with a 3-0 record. The Simsbury graduate is also 3-0 at #1 singles.


Rookie of The Week - SANDHUN MENDIS, STATEN ISLAND
Fr. /St. Peters HS / Sri Lanka

The native of Sri Lanka was a bright spot in the Dolphins loss to CCNY. The freshman defeated John Gomez (CCNY), 6-4, 7-6 at #6 singles. He also picked up a #2 doubles victory with partner Marcel Sandougout in a loss against Ramapo.
