Player of The Week

SHAWN MILLWOOD, CCNY FR. / F / Columbus / Bronx, NY

The freshman made an instant impact in his first two collegiate contests and helped take the defending CUNY champions to a 2-0 start. The striker from the Bronx scored a pair of goals in the Beavers 5-0 blanking of Bard on September 4 and then capped off the week with a tally against Scranton this past Saturday. The Columbus graduate was extremely efficient as he scored a total of three goals on only five shots.

Rookie of The Week

CHINOY EDWARDS, HUNTER FR. / F / Erasmus Hall / Brooklyn, NY

The Brooklyn native made quite a debut in Hunter’s 5-3 opening day victory against Centenary on September 4. The forward tickled the twine three times on only five shot opportunities and recorded the first hat-trick in the conference this season. The Erasmus Hall product demonstrated his versatility by moving to a defensive midfield position for two games in the Muhlenberg Tournament over the weekend.
