Female runner of the week
TYNEKA GREENE, YORK
Fr. / Newtown/Hollis, NY
The freshman captured first-place at the
Queensborough Invitational last Sunday
at Van Cortlandt Park. The Hollis, NY
native easily outclassed the field by covering
the 5k-course in a personal-best
time of 19:56. Her effort helped lead the
Cardinals to a first-place team score of
22 points.

Male runner of the week
 OMRI HOLZMAN, HUNTER
Jr. / Tel-Aviv, Israel
The two-time defending CUNYAC champion
won a pair of individual 8k events
over the weekend. On Saturday, The Tel-
Aviv, Israel native captured the South
Jersey Shootout at Gloucester County
College in a personal-best time of 26:15.
The next morning, the junior won the
Queensborough Invitational in 30:40 and
led the Hawks to the team victory. |
