Player of The Week - Michael McFalls, Hunter JR. / MH / Woodside, NY

The 5'9 outside hitter from Long Beach A 6'4" junior, McFalls led the Hawks to a 4-0 mark last week, raising their CUNYAC record to 8-0. The Newtown High School alum averaged 3.3 kills, 2.7 digs and 0.9 blocks, while hitting at a .405 clip during the span. Against Medgar Evers on Saturday, McFalls had 14 kills (on 27 attempts), 12 digs and five blocks. On the year, he's averaging 3.5 kills, 3.2 digs, 1.1 blocks and hitting .293.


Rookie of The Week - William Tervera, Baruch Fr. / MB / Flushing, NY

Tervera, a 6'2" freshman formerly of Bayside High School had a monster match against Brooklyn with 14 kills (in 18 attempts) with 12 digs and 10 blocks. Later in the day versus CCNY, he had five kills, ten digs and had a .286 hitting percentage. For the season, he's averaging 1.7 kills, 1.9 digs and 1.2 blocks.
