Player of The Week - Marcel Sandougout, Staten Island Jr., #5 flight, Paris, France

In their only match last week, Sandougout won 6-1, 6-1 over Chris Polonco of Lehman. The 6’0” junior followed it with a 10-0 doubles win with Frank Sciortino over LC’s Ernest Amayow and Eddie Rodriguez. On the year, the native of France is 3-2 in singles and 4-1 in doubles action.
 

Rookie of The Week - Leonard Sherman, Staten Island Fr., #3 flight, Staten Island, NY

A freshman from the outer borough, Sherman has been strong at the #3 spot for the Dolphins all season with 4-2 singles and 3-2 doubles marks. Against Lehman, he topped Ramon Bygiart 6- 0, 6-1 before pairing with Paul Ricciardi at #2 doubles to beat Bygiart and Chris Polanco, 10-0.
