CUNY Athletes Enjoy Success At ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships

Boston, MA - A host of CUNY student-athletes turned in fantastic efforts at the 2004 ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6 at Bowdoin College.

Hunter sprinter Tiffanie Clark is NCAA-bound in the 55 meters after finishing in fourth place with a time of 7.25. She also placed fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 26.31.

York's Tolulope Ojo, the CUNYAC Champion in the 800 and 1500 meters, placed ninth with a time of 2:25.82.

Lehman senior thrower Danielle Howard, who won the weight throw at the CUNYAC Championships, placed fifth in the weight throw with an effort of 48'-08.7''.

On the men's side, York Michael Brown took sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 50.68 and placed ninth in the 800 meters in 1:57.70. Donnell Hickson , the CUNYAC champion in the triple jump,took a bronze medal in the event.

York's 4x400 meter relay team (Brown, Hickson, Pernell Duncan, Germain Shephered) placed 13th in 3:29.56.
