Performer of The Week
RITA TOLAN • SR • HUNTER, STELLA MARIS HS • WOODSIDE, NY

The senior co-captain played a huge role in Hunter’s key CUNY dual meet victory against Staten Island last Monday. The Woodside, New York native won all three of her races, including the 200 Medley Relay (2:08.45), 200 Freestyle (2:23.26), and the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:58.48). The Stella Maris graduate also added a win in the 200 Medley Relay and a second-place finish in the 50 Freestyle against Mount St. Mary.


Rookie of The Week
CLAUDIA CHAN • FR • HUNTER, CARDOZO HS/FRESH MEADOWS, NY

The Fresh Meadows, NY native was also perfect with three wins in the win against Staten Island. The Cardozo product was a member of the 200 Medley Relay (2:08.45), 200 Individual Medley (2:34.16) and won the 100 Freestyle (59.09). She went on to add two more wins (200 Medley Relay, 100 Individual Medley) and two second-place finishes (200 Individual Medley, 100 Butterfly) against Mount Saint Mary.

The senior was a double-winner in the Lehman’s key dual-meet victory against Baruch last Friday. The Bronx, New York native won the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Freestyle to give the Lightning a 3-1 record in CUNY, good for second place in the standings.

Despite nursing a badly sprained ankle, the Scarsdale, New York native was a triple-winner in Lehman’s dual-meet victory against Baruch last Friday. The freshman won the 1000 Freestyle (12:30.83), 200 Individual Medley (2:21.89), and the 500 Freestyle (5:35.05).
