Player Of The Week

DEBRA PASQUALE, CSI So. / F / 5'7" / Staten Island, NY
The Dolphins remain undefeated in CUNYAC after a 2-0 week with wins over CCNY and Baruch. The 5'7" Staten Island native averaged 19.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game this week. In the win over her former team CCNY, Pasquale scored 23 points and pulled down 15 rebounds while scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds in the win over the Bearcats. The sophomore forward from St. Peter's High School is currently shooting 50% from the field, 56% from the line, while averaging 13.5 points and 9.9 rebounds per game for the season.


Rookie Of The Week

JESSENIA MARRERO, BARUCH Fr. / F / 5'7" / Flushing, NY
In a 1-1 week, the freshman from Francis Lewis High School wins her first CUNYAC Rookie of the Week honor. In the win over City Tech, Marrero went 6-8 from three-point land and 2-2 from the line, totaling 20 points along with 3 assists. Despite the loss to Staten Island, the freshman forward remained solid, scoring 15 points. The Flushing native averaged 17.5 pints, 2.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2 steals per game for the week.
