Player of The Week - Dustin Yeates, Kingsborough Fr., G, 5’8”, Brooklyn, NY
The freshman point guard saved his best game
for some CUNY competition as the rookie out of
Brooklyn (South Shore HS) collected a career
high 34 points and 9 assists in the Wave’s 91-
75 overtime win over Hostos. The comeback
win, after KCC was down 16 points with 4:00
minutes left in the game, pushed KCC to second
place in the conference standings. Yeates leads
CUNY in scoring and assists while shooting 45%
from the field.
Rookie of The Week - Sal Clark, Hostos So. / G / 6’4” / New York, NY
A newcomer to the Bronx campus, Clark has
been a consistent performer for the Caimans
early on in the season. Clark (Our Saviour
Lutheran High School / New York, NY) has
paced the newly formed program through their
first ten games, averaging a team-leading 16.7
points and 6.8 rebounds, with 2.5 assists and
