PSY 348: History of Psychology.

3 hours, 3 credits. Study of the evolution of theory and methods in psychology as it has developed from its early philosophical roots to its present status as a science and profession. The contributions of major individuals and theoretical systems and their influence on contemporary psychology will be reviewed.
