MAT 090: Algebra and Geometry.
4 hours, 1 credit. Factoring, solving quadratic equations, rational and radical expressions, direct and inverse variation, topics from geometry, introduction to trigonometry, applications to the natural and social sciences. Mathematics Laboratory attendance may be assigned at the discretion of the instructor. PREREQ: MAT 080 or placement by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
