3 hours, 3 credits. A panoramic view of contemporary Italy and an analysis of its role in industry, fashion, folklore, film making, and theatre, as seen through leading journals and other sources. PREREQ: ITA 201 or Departmental permission. Note: Designed for students not majoring in Italian.
